Ride Report Worth Reading: Montana Fall - ADVrider
Montana Fall I was going to add this to my ride report links, but just had to highlight it here. This is great stuff, if you like snow and motorcycles. Can someone say weather channel?
Those guys were nuts! I've been in similar situations and would have turned back way before they did....I always regret not having the presence of mind to take a pic of my first fall on snow with my RT.
I do vividly remember it though, the rear wheel sliding out from under me. Me sliding down the snow-covered road, watching my RT spinning on its right jug before me.
Got lucky on that one, someone near the bottom of that hill walked up and helped me right Maria and I got down the rest of the way without mishap.
What a ride report. I keep coming back to it and reading it. I have ridden in the snow before, but I think I would have given up long before these guys did. I have thought about buying a small enduro for riding all winter long in Ohio, but I would never ride my RT in those conditions. My hat's off to these guys, they have more guts than me!

There is a fine line between hard care and foolish...
