You're right Joe, I guess it was not the year of the pancake! Not a lot of food highlights.
Dom, did you end up using MS Movie maker? Once you figure out how to get started, it's pretty easy to use. I found bunches of video clip from the summer, that I completely forgot about...I'm working on them next.
You just get more talented all the time! As far as riding goes, I feel pretty good. As to the actual photo and blog thing, your site's starting to make me feel like the Geico caveman! But not so good looking, of course.
I watched your montage of images and felt "wow, what a good life". Then I thought it must be the music. Watched it without and still, "What a great life".
I think for people who don't take pictures and write and keep track of what the heck is going on they may not realize all the gifts they have.
A great job! And like irondad says, your site gets better and better. I finally got around to putting an image in my header. I'm not on the bleeding edge of blogging....
I appreciate the kind words! My next project is going to be a belated 2007 trip report montage. I am planning on scanning in some documents from the trip, add some of the videos Lisa took, and then pics.

Very, very nice job Gail!
So, how does one compile one's photos into a movie?
