I'm not sure I'd walk across that bridge. Anyone been across the floating bridge in VT? The slime on that would cause me to stay on my side. I'm very conservative when it comes to that type of risk. Could be my big horse of a bike.
Thanks for posting my video, and if it helps I get sweaty palms everytime I re-watch it too! I'm glad I made it and I'm glad I had the foresight to turn my head-cam on. I think the locals that pointed to the bridge as the only way to cross the river were the one's who had the last laugh at the stupid gringo cursing his way across the water!

Whoa! I would NOT have attempted that. I wonder how stable (or not) that bridge felt? It looked wet and slippery too.
Gail
and you say I'm nuts? This rider takes the cake!
We saw at the end that the bike was "only" a 650GS - what's all the fuss about ?? (joke!)
With my luck, I'd have gotten across the bridge then fallen down in the mud on the other side!
You would have to ride across, wouldn't you? There is no way you could walk beside the bike. Wow!
That kid at the end of the video looked like the bridge was no big deal, didn't he?
I saw this before and it gives me sweaty palms whenever I watch it!

No WAY I'd even walk across that nevermind ride. O_o
