OMG the month of May is passing my blog by. It's not because I haven't been riding. It's because I haven't been slacking! A good 90% of my online contributions: blog entries, Flickr & forum posts, used to happen during work hours. This had been going on for the last 4 years. What started out as a way to kill time at work became a way of life.

But since I've decided to stop wasting my life away in a cubicle. I've gotten more focused on moving from the ranks of unemployed to self employed. I find that my time wasting pursuits have fallen my the wayside.
Eventually I will reach an equilibrium with work, riding, photography and online writing; but for now I am heavily engaged in everything work, with regular fits of parenting thrown in for good measure. And I think in order to succeed that it the way it's going to be for 6 or 12 months.
But I have my eye on the prize. What is that Gail? Why free time of course. What else would I be working towards? Hope your summer gets off to a great start this holiday weekend. We are heading up to the Woodstock, Vermont area, I can't wait, I need the mini-vacation!
